North of Dixie is a 5 piece band that plays an eclectic mix of original songs, bluegrass, old time jazz/swing and anything else that “feels good”! Shelly Miller lays down the banjo and acoustic guitar sounds. John Lynch adds the rhythm guitar. John and Shelly write or co-write most of the original songs. John Utphall drives many of the songs with his virtuoso fiddle sounds. Bob Boone plays the mandolin and Jeff Heath keeps it all together on bass.
