Join us for a night of jazz and improvised music with host, Josh Gallagher. Josh grew up in Eau Claire and left the Midwest study jazz at Berklee School of Music in Boston. Josh also attended the Dave Brubeck Institute. After time in Boston, New York, and performing on cruises Josh returned to Eau Claire bringing a wealth of talent. The Cry Babies draw from a wide variety of music, they emphasize acoustic versions of early Fab Four “B”-side tunes, concentrating on the vocals (their name comes from one of The Beatles’ early songs). The Cry Babies formed from a chance introduction at an open mic in Eau Claire, WI, where they found a lot of musical interests in common.
